About

QUEENDomination™ (QD), founded by Miss Andye J in 2013, is a dynamic dance-intensive workshop led by an all-female faculty. Designed to empower women, QD blends high-level dance training with self-awareness exercises and mentorship from some of the industry’s most influential female figures.

QD consists of two key components:

  1. The Workshop – Focused on dance training and technique.

  2. The Intensive – A more intimate, non-dance experience where participants engage in self-discovery exercises, open discussions, and personal mentorship with faculty members.

There is an age limit for The Intensive and spots are limited.

"After 15+ years of teaching and traveling internationally, I’ve had the privilege of working with women of all shapes, sizes, ages, backgrounds, and dance abilities. Through these experiences, one truth became clear—we all battle insecurities. These struggles don’t just stay in our minds; they affect our hearts, our daily lives, and even our passions.

QUEENDomination – The Intensive Workshop is designed to break those barriers, creating a space where women can fully and unapologetically discover themselves—through dance, for themselves."

  • QUEENDomination™ (QD), founded by Miss Andye J in 2013, is a dance intensive-workshop led by an all-female faculty. Designed to empower women, QD combines dance training, self-awareness exercises, and mentorship from some of the industry’s most influential female leaders, helping participants uncover their inner QUEEN.

  • A) “The Workshop” - Dance classes/training (int/adv level) - Hip Hop, Dancehall, Heels, & more;

    B) “The Intensive” - A non-dance experience held in a more intimate and supportive setting, The Intensive offers participants a space for self-discovery and honest conversation. Through self-awareness exercises, open discussions with faculty, and candid conversations about navigating the dance industry as women—and its impact on life beyond dance—attendees build confidence, connection, and community. Must be 14+ to attend. Spots are limited.

  • The Intensive Workshop is designed for women ages 12 and up. Additionally, QD will offer separate open classes (Int/Adv level) that welcome both men and women of all ages.

  • QUEENDomination™ hosts the following:

    - The Intensive-Workshop: open to women ages 14 and up

    - The Workshop: open to women ages 12 and up

    - Open Classes: separate classes open to men and women of all ages

    - Heels Convention: a multiple-class event for anyone interested in all aspects of Heels (open to anyone ages 14 and up)

    - QD Online: an online version of the QD in-person event
